| Mavar is delighted to join our friends and partners allover the world in celebrating the Day of Choice. This is a new initiative to raise awareness about those who choose to leave their Ultra-Orthodox community and live a life of their choosing. October 27th was chosen for the simple reason that it has no special meaning. It is simply a day that has been chosen. Globally there are tens of thousands of young men and women, each with their own reason for leaving Ultra-Orthodoxy and choosing a new way of life. One day, unconnected to anything else, allows them to come together to create new, shared meaning. Mavar is busier than ever supporting individuals as they embark or progress on their personal journey of empowerment. Our bespoke mentoring, tutoring and support services allow our members to feel both heard and held whilst they are on this journey.
