Shana Tovah from Mavar

As we head towards the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), a time of hopefulness, reflection, and renewal, all of us at Mavar would like to wish you and your families a happy, healthy, peaceful, and sweet new year.

In my first few months at Mavar, I have seen the dedicated team of Trustees, staff and volunteers we have, and for which I am so grateful. We literally could not run our services without you.

Mavar is also grateful for all of our donors, small or large, whose generosity enables us to provide education, pastoral support, counselling, and social events for our members. Again, without you, Mavar could not deliver these often life-saving programmes.

But mostly to our members, thank you for trusting Mavar with your journeys. For your resilience, your dedication and motivation, even through difficult times. Your optimism and positivity, as well as your well-deserved successes are what brings us happily to work each day.

May our apples always be ripe and sweet, may our troubles be few, and may the coming year bring peace for all of us.
